This last week Scott had a business trip to Aptos and we took full advantage of that! My Mom and Dad were nice enough to rent a house for the week and we had a ton of fun! We visited the Aquarium, Camp to ride the train, played at the Boardwalk and had some fun beach days! We used to go to Aptos and stay on this very beach when I was a kid, so this trip was so special to watch Jase and Adison play where I played when I was little. The week was busy and relaxing all rolled into one. Thanks Mom and Dad for a fun filled week!
Jase had a great time at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. His favorite exhibits were the jelly fish and anything bird related. Adison did really well too and I was surprised how much she loved looking at the fish!

My mom and I took Jase and Adi to Roaring Camp to ride the train! We used to do this as a kid and I remember it being so much fun. (I also remember the rock candy I would get at the shop). Jase thought the train ride was so much fun. He loved seeing the steam engine work and also got ducky and got to sit with the Conductor and talk about trains on the way back! Adison did well on the train ride except when it would blow the horn... then she'd cry!

This was Jases second trip to the Boardwalk and this year he did SO well! He loved every ride he went on and wanted to do more! He rode his first bigger kid roller coaster and had a great time! He laughed on it and asked to do it again when we got off!
