Since Scott and Chris went hunting Saturday, Brittany and I decided to have a girls day! We headed up to Arden Mall to shop a bit and eat lunch. After getting that out of our system, we went grocery shopping for dinner that night and made a stop at Buy Buy Baby!
I'm glad Brittany was up for a trip to Buy Buy Baby, since Scott has told me to make baby planning as much like the wedding as possible (which means all the little stuff is up to me, all the safety items, cribs, strollers, car seats ect... he wants a say in). I am perfectly OK with this since it makes it much easier on me to scope out what I want and let him come in and make the big decision! So the main thing I wanted to look at while we were there was the Britax B Ready Stroller. I saw it online and loved that it was so versatile. The car seat attaches easily, it's not too bulky and has an option to add a second seat later!!! I'm pretty sure this is the stroller we will register for, but Scott still has to give the OK. Here are two pictures: one with the regular seat (how it comes) and the other with the car seat attached. Its so easy to switch them, literally click and go!
I did still find myself overwhelmed with all the "little" stuff... I mean how many breast pump options and bottles can there be??? I guess I still have A LOT more research to do :) Any moms out there is advice I am open to hear it!!!
On another note, we hit 16 WEEKS on Saturday! I can't believe how quickly time is going by. I am getting to the point where I am hungry a lot more and need to have snacks on me or it goes from good to bad really quick. Yesterday we went to lunch with Scott's grandma and in the time it took us to drive from our house to hers I thought I was going to die I was so hungry! I did find some Almonds at her house and some Kix in my car that held me over until we actually ate.
Other then that nothing else is really going on so I will leave you with a new belly picture! I feel like I may have deflated a little since last post, maybe the bloat dyeing down and baby moving up!
