Earlier this summer we got to take Jase to his first Baseball Game with Scotts parents! We were really unsure of how he'd do and didn't really expect him to last the entire game, but leave it to Jase to always keep us guessing! He did GREAT!
We sat in the Club Level ( I highly recommend this if you have small children) and it was so nice to be able to go inside and walk around without hug crowds. Other perks of the Club Level are the shorter food lines and tables and chairs to sit at. We all had a great time, even though the Giants lost. Jase had some Garlic Fries, Ice Cream and fit in a short nap.

Six years of dating, a beautiful wedding, a puppy named Abby, toddler named Jase, our angel baby Timothy (up in heaven) and a new Baby Girl, Adison, add in a new puppy named Sky and new diagnosis of T1D for Jase... it seems our life is ever changing.

Celebrating Easter
How weird is it that Jase turned ONE before his First Easter?! Well, I find it a little crazy!
Our little family traveled to my moms for Easter this year. We wanted to try and travel at night while Jase slept because the drive is so long and hopefully avoid having to stop. Scott and I both thought that was a great plan, but wouldn't you know Jase was awake most of the trip. It made for a long night and early next morning, but it was worth it to see family and spend time with them.
We had a great time hanging out with family, dyeing eggs and taking Jase to the beach (see that post)! My mom set eggs out for Jase to hunt, but he was way more interested in the wood chips. We also got to see the Knight Family and spend some time with them!

First Beach Trip for Jase
Well, not sure how it took a year to finally get Jase to the beach when my mom lives down the street from one! BUT, we finally made it! My mom, grandma and I decided it would be nice to take Jase to Pismo while Scott and my dad went shooting. It worked out great and after our beach fun we met the boys for lunch!
Jase LOVED the sand, and by loved I mean he liked to eat it. He was not to excited about the water though. You'll notice in one of the pictures below he is gripping to my mom when she's trying to let him down!

Jase Turns ONE!
Well, I guess we don't technically have a baby anymore! Jase turned ONE on Friday the 4th. I can not believe how quickly this last year went by. Jase has been such a blessing for Scott and I. He brings us so much joy and has taught us how strong we really are! I can finally say we kept a child alive for a year! YAY!
Jase is 21 pounds, 29 inches tall and has 6 teeth! He stands, crawls, talks baby talk and says some words! He is not walking yet, but I'm sure thats in the very near future.
We celebrated his birthday on the 5th at Scott's parents house with family and friends. It turned out to be a great day with some sunshine, clouds and perfect weather. We are so thankful for great family and friends who helped us celebrate and so thankful for the ones who travel to join us! Sadly, we didn't get pictures of everyone there, but thanks to my sister and brother in law we got some great photos to document the day!
Thanks to our parents as well for helping out!

Jase: 11 Months
Less then a month and we will have a toddler! Jase is learning and growing every day! We finally got a good day to take some pictures for his 11 month shoot. These mini photo shoots are becoming so much harder to take, I have about a 5 minute time frame to try and get a smile. Well today Jase was cooperating and I was able to get some good pictures with smiles and him looking at the camera!
Jase is all over the place it seems these days. He crawls so quick, climbing on things, using toys to help him get higher, walking while holding onto furniture or mom or dad (though if we try to help him he just sits, this boy likes to do things on his own!), he says mama now in relation to me and said dada in relation to Scott the other day (before he would just babble those words with no association), says Ab-beh (Abby), loves playing with Abby, loves going on walks and being outside, his favorite show is by far Dora (he's drawn to the TV when it's on), loves to face-time with his grandparents, he's a great eater and starting with some whole milk and so much more! We are LOVING this age.
