Baby Shower: Celebrating Baby Jase Edward

Last weekend my Mom, Mother in Law and friend Brittany hosted a beautiful shower for Jase. The shower was at Piazza del Pane in Fresno out on the patio. Weather was great last weekend in Fresno, which made for a beautiful shower. It was so nice to friends and family all together, I will treasure it as the last time I will probably see most of these people without a baby in tow... outside the belly ;-).

The shower had a ABC Theme and was full of BRIGHT colors, prefect to celebrate a spring baby! Both the Grandmas to be put a lot into making the shower beautiful. Brittany did and AMAZING job at putting personal touches throughout the shower and making items I am now using in the nursery. For food we chose to do a Pizza/Pasta Buffet and dessert was a three tier alphabet block cake made by Courtney of The Sugar Addiction. Courtney also made the super cute and yummy alphabet block cookies as favors for the guests to take home. 

Overall the Baby Shower was great and baby Jase got HOOKED UP!!! Scott and I are so blessed to have amazing Family and Friends that love our little Jase Edward already! My wonderful friend Kristen and Sister in Law were also nice enough to take pictures for me to document this special time, enjoy!

Happy Valentines Day

The past two years Valentines Day has been a little more special for us, we brought Abby home on February 14, 2011. Who knew a little puppy could bring SO much JOY.... and chaos! Before we got Abby I had NO IDEA a dog could have such a personality and be so dramatic. Every day she makes me smile and for sure has been the best Valentines Day gift to date! We Love You Abby.

Super Bowl & 30 Weeks!

We had a GREAT Super Bowl Party, as always! Scott and I love that for the last 4 years (I think) we are able to get everyone together for a great time! This years Super Bowl Party was extra special because the 49ers were playing.... Unfortunately they lost. :( The best part about the party is, according to the girls, is the FOOD! Everyone always brings something yummy to snack! We had everything from Duck with bacon and pineapple to yummy desserts. One of my favorites this year was Brittany's Beer Bacon. Since the bacon was cooked after the beer concoction was put on, I got to enjoy it too! Scott's favorite was Alisha's bunt cake, she made it Gluten Free for him and it was SO moist!

We also hit 30 Weeks last Saturday! Less then 10 Weeks left before Baby Boy makes his debut! Scott and I also picked up the Nursery Furniture and my dad is coming up here this weekend to help Scott put everything together! I can't wait to get everything set up and organized! Of course I will take pictures once everything is done!

3rd Trimester

Can you believe it?! Three more months and our little boy will be here!

I feel as if I've been a bad blogger and really bad about updating pictures! I'm going to try and be better about this especially since we have SO much coming up to blog about!

We have an appointment Tuesday morning to see our little man, can't wait! I'm crossing my fingers that he stays still long enough to get some good pictures. The last two appointments we had we didn't get very good pictures due to him no staying still! At the last appointment the doctor said he should have some more fat on him by now and should be able to get a good 3D picture! Either way I just can't wait to see him. I believe that my appointments will be changing to ever 2 to 3 weeks now too, WooHoo!

So what's been going on with our little man lately... everything. I don't think this kid knows how to sleep. Can you sleep train a baby still in the womb? HAHA. I can tell he has not picked a position yet in my tummy since I get kicked down low and up at my ribs in a matter of seconds, lets just hope once he picks he chooses head down! He is favoring my right side, and has since I could feel him. Yes, I am the woman with the lopsided pregnant belly at times, and yes I point this out to my husband and he just laughs. Thanks honey!

I DID take a 26 week picture but failed to post it, so I took one yesterday as well at 27 weeks so now you can see how much I grow in a week :) Aren't you lucky?! My books and apps say that my stomach and baby should be finishing a growth spurt right about now and continue steady growth until born and as you can see, IT SHOWS!! From here on out watch me turn from human to whale! ;-)

Merry Christmas

Scott and I had a great Christmas with family. We had Christmas Eve dinner with my family at Elbow Room and then headed over to Scott's parents house to hang out after. Christmas day stated at my grandmas house with breakfast and then we celebrated with Scott's family in the afternoon and ate dinner.

This year especially Scott and I are feeling pretty blessed and thankful for what we have. Our Baby Boy is already spoiled, we received so many great gifts and clothes.

22 Weeks & Christmas in the Air

Can you believe we are 22 Weeks already?! I feel like this pregnancy is going by so fast, but at the same time April can not come soon enough! Also still can't believe we will be in 2013 in 3 weeks. Crazy.

I am lucky that I haven't been sick a whole lot during the entire pregnancy but man oh man can I sleep all day! My apps for pregnancy tell me that this is supposed to be the "honeymoon" period of pregnancy, I think they're wrong! Along with being sleepy, I have been feeling/seeing kicks like crazy for the last two weeks and trying to catch some on video, but it seems little man is already shy. Scott is also able to feel them when he gets his hand on my belly fast enough! Baby Boy is most active between 2AM-4AM (Scott tells me this is because he wants to go hunting with him). He also seems to like it when I eat :-).

Abby and I have also been busy decorating for Christmas! Abby is a great helper with telling what decorating should not go on the tree! HA!
